Courtney Rains Loo created Courtney’s Carolers in 2004. Beginning as a child actress, Courtney has had a long and diverse career in the entertainment industry. Courtney starred as “Rumpleteazer” in the Broadway National Tour of Cats. She has sung at Lincoln Center in Broadway Applauds Lincoln Center and she has appeared in national commercials. Most recently, she appears with “Gus the groundhog” in a PA Lottery commercial.
Due to her petite size of under 5 feet tall, Courtney has also made a career as a stunt double and stand-in for child stars in television and film. This means that when a child in show business has to go to school during filming hours, Courtney will step in so the crew can do lighting or rehearse the scene. If there is something dangerous in a film, Courtney is costumed to match the child actor and she will perform the stunt herself as a “double.” Courtney has worked on TV shows such as Full House and Law and Order SVU. She has done movies with Macaulay Culkin from “Home Alone” fame and was in the family movie The Little Rascals among many other movies and TV shows. Courtney has gone through windows, been set on fire, and has even jumped out of amusement park rides in films! Her latest film is titled 21 Bridges and stars Chadwick Boseman and J.K. Simmons. Look for her as she plays a girl riding her bike to the gym amidst a car stunt.
Currently, Courtney produces and performs Christian music including her own band, Blue Sky. Courtney hopes that you are thrilled with Courtney’s Carolers!

Rebecca has been a singer since birth. Her siblings say she was either screaming to tell on them or singing notes that only dogs can hear as long as they can remember. She was raised to love Jesus and the Pittsburgh Steelers (in that order). At an early age, she gave her life to Jesus, believing He died for her sins on the cross and looking forward to spending eternity with Him in Heaven someday. At the age of thirteen she made the decision to go on a mission trip in order to avoid weeding the family garden all summer long; her siblings have never forgiven her. During that time, she rededicated her life to the Lord and this helped shape her life and her decisions from that time on.
She has a Master’s degree in education and Bachelor’s degrees in Music Education and Bible from Cairn University. However, the most important degree she received there was her M.R.S. degree. Even before their marriage in 1995, she and her husband Blair were part of a music group where she…sang. I know you’re shocked. He, unlike her brothers, appreciated her ability to make anything into a song. Anything. Test her at some point. Seriously.
Since 1995, they have partnered in ministry and in the quest for a family large enough that they qualify for group rates wherever they go. They have six children whom they are raising to love Jesus. Their biggest struggle: Blair is an Eagles fan and she is a Steelers fan. It’s amazing their marriage has survived. Their children are also musical, which makes their house sound, at times, like an out of tune marching band without a director.
Rebecca now leads worship (singing – did you guess?) at Bucks County Community Church in Langhorne, PA. She also teaches private piano and voice lessons, coaches worship teams and teaches a creative arts integration course at Cairn, has a solo concert ministry, leads worship at retreats, and also sings at various other venues. Every other Friday she sleeps. Usually.
Her desire is that her voice be used to glorify God.
Juanita Crain has been musical since her childhood learning piano, violin, flute and voice from a young age. She has a Bachelor of Music from Cairn University where she studied piano under the direction of Dr. Samuel Hsu. Throughout the years, Juanita has directed and sung in many choirs while teaching piano out of her home. She has been performing with Courtney’s Carolers since the 2014 season. She currently resides in Bucks County, Pennsylvania with her husband Tom and their four children.
Marji Harding joined Courtney’s Carolers in 2016 and thoroughly enjoys performing with them each year. Her musical studies include emphases in voice, piano, and oboe. As an oboist, she performs throughout the Philadelphia area in a variety of musical organizations, including the Mid-Atlantic Chamber Players, ConcertOPERA Philadelphia, Cantus Novus and the UPenn Choral Society. As an educator, Marji maintains a private studio of piano and oboe students. She has taught instrumental, choral and general music in both public and private schools, and serves as an evaluator for music festivals and a double reed clinician at the collegiate level. In the summers, Marji teaches at the Csehy Summer School of Music in Langhorne, PA. She earned degrees in Music Education from Roberts Wesleyan College and a Masters of Music from the University of Hartford, Hartt School of Music. Outside of music, Marji enjoys running, cooking and reading. A resident of Bucks County, PA, she and her husband, Benjamin, a pianist, enjoy performing together and spending time with their 4 children.
Sharon Miller has been singing with Courtney’s Carolers since 2009. Her love of music started at a young age, beginning with piano lessons at the age of 5. Along with piano, Sharon enjoys playing the flute and, of course, singing. As a true alto, she delights in singing the lowest harmony notes arranged for the carolers. Along with participating in caroling and music at her church, Sharon dedicates her days to teaching children with special needs. For fun, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, and passing on her love of music to her family.
Faith, family, and falsetto. These are the central parts of Abby’s life. Abby’s accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior at the age of 8 and her faith is continually deepening and she continues to pursue God in her everyday life.
Abby is the middle child of 5. Her family is a major source of support and has encouraged her to keep going after her goals no matter what. Both of her older siblings participated in choir. Her older brother is an inspiration to learn hard music and have fun while doing it.
Abby fell in love with singing at a very young age. Since she could talk she has been singing anything and everything from Disney to Mozart. Singing in the rain is her favorite activity to lighten up a dreary day. Her early elementary school years were spent waiting for the day she could join choir, and once she could, she joined every group and excitedly learned her music in days. During her Junior and Senior year, Abby has been participating in South Vocal Ensemble, a select jazz group full of 30 choir members who have had the opportunity to sing in museums, Christmas villages, and formal competitions. Abby Sedam joined Courney’s Carolers in 2021 and is thrilled to be spreading God’s love and Christmas cheer during her favorite holiday season.
Starting at a young age, singing has been Nicole’s favorite thing to do. One day, while at a restaurant with her Mother, Nicole began to sing spontaneously. Her Mother explained that she couldn’t sing all the time, anywhere she wanted. To her Mother’s surprise, the restaurant owner approached Nicole and asked her to sing in front of the entire restaurant! More than once, Nicole’s impromptu singing has earned her a performance on the spot!
Nicole Visniski has a BMA in Vocal Performance from the University of Arizona and a MED in Education from Northern Arizona University. She has been a music educator for more than 15 years. Nicole has been in choirs and operas in Oregon, Washington, Arizona, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Europe. She has held both minor and major roles including Suor Angelica and Carmen. Her choirs have received honors in competitions on the West Coast. She sings with local choirs near her home and is excited to be able to work with Courtney’s Carolers again for the fifth year. Nicole currently lives in Bucks County, Pennsylvania with her amazing husband and four beautiful children.
